Duration : 3 h
Starting point : quite difficult to find
Signs : very bad | Physical capacity : quite easy
Landscape : very nice
Global mark : very good |
Comment : The start is at the Passable beach, just behind the Ephrussi de Rothschild villa. It is well indicated, but I have not found where to pay the car park.
There should be yellow signs for the track but I did not notice them. Though it is easy because you follow the coastline all the time.
So you leave the beach and you follow the coast path until the lighthouse, then you go around the cape and you continue to go around the Saint-Hospice headland. To finish you pass the harbour and the town centre of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and you go back to the car park.
The sea is very beautiful and turquoise blue. The path is tidy and presents no difficulties. We saw enormous villas, rocks, the Paloma beach... The town Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is also very nice : the harbour and the beach, nice houses... I enjoyed it even under a grey sky !
A nice walk of 10 km. You can stop often to admire the landscape and to smell the sea...
