| Added the : 06 March 2005
Duration : 2 h
Starting point : very difficult to find
Signs : very good | Physical capacity : very easy
Landscape : quite nice
Global mark : quite good |
Comment : The route to the starting point (photo nr. 2) demands a maximum of concentration. Along the N572 direction Saint-Gilles : 20 m after a wine press hanging in the air, turn to the right where you see a round wall with the inscription Château Saint-André (photo nr. 1). A short and completely flat walk : perfect for families with children from 3 years on. Along the track, you will cross signs explaining the fauna, the flora, the canal etc. Perfect if you want to get an idea of the Camargue in a short time : bulls, horses, reed beds, the canal, birds, you have it all (with some luck).
