Comment : This walk starts at a big car park just before Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. From there, you walk through the forest to Saint-Martin, the abyss of Lespugue and Labat.
This hike takes about 3 and 1/2 hours. The combination of forest, countryside and mountains is very enjoyable. The cows have all kind of colours and on the way back, you have a very beautiful view of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges.
Remark : Even if the track does not include Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges (photographs 20 to 22), visit its Gallo-Roman remains and its Sainte-Marie cathedral (visit partly with charge : 4 € by person in 2005).
