Comment : One of the best hikes in the Herault area ! This hike of 10 kms and 440 metres of difference in height is great. The Pic Saint-Loup is a wonderful mountain and the views are fantastic !
The start of this hike is in Cazevieille at the entrance of the village on the left. You follow the GR (Grande Randonnée) signs, then the yellow signs, then again the GR signs. You will walk around the mountain, climb to the top (658 metres) and go back down to Cazevieille. A nice and quite difficult hike.
On the top, the view is really amazing ! Half of the walk is shady, half of it is not. Take a hat and water with you. Of course this walk needs clear weather for its view from the Pic...
