Comment : This walk will explore the fortified town of Bergues.
We start in the city itself with the famous Belfry, the Church of St. Martin, the fountain of the Three Graces, the "Mont de Piété" and the street "Quai des Maçons".
The walk continues along the city walls and its different towers and gates.
It ends at the foot of two towers remaining from the ancient abbey of Saint-Winoc.
An easy route, rich and varied.

Note : Welcome to Bergues, Welcome to the Ch'tis.
The popular film "Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis" has been turned in Bergues.
For a few euros, the tourist office offers a walking tour commenting the major filming locations.
