Comment : This hike is absolutely magical ! A very rich vegetation.
To admire the "Trou de fer", you should start early (at least at 7 am).
From the holiday cottage "Gîte de Bélouve", you have an unimpeded view on the cirque of Salazie and on the "Piton des Neiges"... Fabulous !
The route crosses a forest of tamarind trees and tree ferns... Splendid !
Some muddy parts, to avoid when it rains.
