Comment : Outstanding view on the cirque of Mafate at the departure of Maido. Walk to start very early (at 6 am !) to benefit from the exceptional view on the cirques Mafate and Cilaos.
You should be fit to make this walk because there is a difference in height of 800 metres. You need good shoes and rain clothes because the weather changes quickly.
The way back by the Glacières is worth the detour. To do !
