Comment : When you arrive in Bédoin, follow the signs to ‘Bélézy’. The start of this hike is located after this naturist campsite. The hike starts in a forest and then follows the coomb of Curnier. The last section through this dry valley is exceptional. You walk between two walls which are so high and close that the sunlight hardly passes. It is fresh there. Even when the passage is narrow, you can still continue easily. Some trees are growing between the walls (unbelievable !), you can hear the sound of running water… It is amazing. After this first quarter of the hike, follows the ascension to the Jas des Landérots. It is a straight line. And if you climb under the burning sun, it will seem long and tiring. If you are, like us, not a marathon runner, do it step by step and slowly. This is not a Sunday afternoon walk ! Once on the top, you arrive at a nice sheepfold and a large field with some trees. It is the dreamt place for a well-deserved picnic. You have a nice panorama on the surroundings. Somewhat further, when you go back down to Bédoin, you will have a nice view on the Coomb of Bouisse. Provide for enough water !
