Comment : We had a look at the map and choose to make the hike in the opposite way of the guidebook.
To alternate the differences in height, we have chosen to start at the summit "Col de la Haag" and to reach the summit of "Grand Ballon" by its westside... There is a superb view on the Vosges the entire way up.
A good walk to discover the massif of the Vosges : large views are followed by forests and a typical lake.
